Welcome to our seventh week together, team. It'll be another short one with a Pro-D day on Friday. There will be plenty to do as the week progresses, including spending Monday afternoon at the skating rink. Here's the plan for the week:
Math - I've been impressed by the understanding and fluency that many of you have shown with the two multiplication strategies we reviewed last week. We'll continue practicing and work toward a little quizzy by Wednesday.
Writing - Be on the lookout for feedback about your "First Write" task early this week (if you haven't yet turned this in, please do this soon). We are full-steam ahead with the Spooky Story task. Be sure you are prepared to work on your story each day this week. Aim to have your first draft completed by Wednesday, when we'll turn our attention to revising your writing.
Reading - The Boundless continues. Expect another reading response task before the end of the week.
Science - Your "Stations Lab" page is now due, and half of you have submitted your work. If you haven't handed in this sheet, please do that soon. We'll begin a brief look at the endocrine system this week.
